1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Timey (accessible at apptimey.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the application.

2. Description of Service

Timey provides a social alarm clock platform where users can join "Alarm Rooms."

  • Owners: Can edit times, snooze options, and delete alarms for all members.
  • Members: Can join rooms via link and leave rooms at their discretion.

3. Pay to Snooze & Financials

  • Timey offers a "Pay to Snooze" feature to incentivize waking up.
    • Fees: Timey retains a flat 10% fee of the total snooze amount plus Stripe processing fees. The remaining balance is transferred to the room owner's connected account.
    • No Refunds: All "Pay to Snooze" transactions are final. Once a snooze is purchased and the transaction is processed, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.

4. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • Digital Goods: Subscriptions to Timey Plus and "Pay to Snooze" payments are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your Timey Plus subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. However, no prorated refunds will be provided for the remaining billing period.

5. User-Generated Content (Audio Uploads)

  • Plus users may upload custom sounds. You represent and warrant that you own the rights to any audio you upload. Timey reserves the right to remove any content that violates copyright laws or is deemed offensive.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Timey is an incentive tool. We are not responsible for:
    • Alarms failing to go off due to device settings, "Do Not Disturb" modes, or battery failure.
    • Any financial loss, missed appointments, or employment issues resulting from the use or misuse of the app.
    • Third-party network failures (e.g., Stripe or Apple services).

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Users may not use Timey to harass others via room names or excessive alarm triggers. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these community standards.

8. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
